White Christmas

Was my first Christmas not wearing shorts and having a BBQ, felt a little weird, but thanks to Alex lovely family i felt right at home.

Back in Europe and on the bus to Norway (got to love wifi on bus).

Spent last week in Czech Republic drinking beer and looking at beautiful buildings. Did my best o take some pictures (will post later) but i didn't have much picture taking zen left after 5 weeks in Iran and Turkey.

Back from Iran

5 bus rides, 1 taxi, 6 cups of tea and 14 hours later and I,m finally out of Iran. Currently in Eastern Turkey in a tiny hotel room catching up on my web surfing after a month of almost no internet.

Iran was fascinating country filled with beautiful landscapes and wonderful friendly people (most of them) . But I think its going to take me awhile to process the whole experience to give a clear explanation of "what Iran is really like".

Left Norway on Friday had 4 days in Amsterdam which was way to much fun and now sitting in Istanbul drinking my last beer for a few weeks (no booze in Iran).

Now off to catch the train to Tehran, 3 days and 3000km ......immmmm should be interesting.

Having a computer that works now means i have been able to dig up some old pics i missed first time round. Here are a few from the Balkans i took in March.

Been a crazy month, went over to Canada to shoot my first wedding for my old school mate Steve had my Mum over to Norway to visit for a week and then had to fight off another cold. I'm now catching up on all those little jobs ( like this blog) and planning my trip to Iran next month. Updated to Mac as my old HP was dead so busy learning the new system and getting my head round lightroom which I'm finding very useful. Will be leaving Norway on 16 October and heading to Holland before flying to Turkey where i will be taking the train to Iran, should be back in Norway mid November not sure if i will be taking computer with me as i want to travel light so not sure if i'll be posting much.

Summer in Norway

Been very slack on this blog last 2 months but will try and keep it better updated from now on. The summer here in Voss has been going very well with lots of sun and good times. Im still fighting off a summer cold right now which has left my feeling weak for last 2 weeks. Hope to head off for a road trip next week to get out and see a bit more of Norway.
